The 1 SG MICHAEL S. CURRY MEMORIAL FOUNDATION INC. was founded in memory of Michael Curry; a heroic soldier and an extraordinary person.  Michael recognized the purpose of life to be a life of purpose. He made the ultimate sacrifice after 20 years of service during his final tour of duty in Afghanistan on July 23, 2007.  The deafening sound of the road side bomb that took such a beloved individual prematurely has been silenced by the memory of his infectious laughter and beaming smile.  With the fondest of memories, SMILES ARE CONTAGIOUS was born and will continue to bring Michael’s contagious smile to the faces of countless children.

You never stand so tall as when you stoop to help a child.  There are only two lasting bequests that we can hope to give to our children.  One is roots, the other is wings.  Your help is priceless.
